Trust & safety

Our Security Promise

Bitcoin puts you in control of your own money. Good education should never compromise that. Here is exactly what PYMTW will and will not do.

PYMTW will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords, authentication codes, or control of your funds — and neither will anyone who legitimately represents PYMTW. If someone claiming to be from PYMTW ever asks for any of these, it is a scam. Stop and contact us.

What PYMTW never does

  • Never takes custody of client funds
  • Never asks for your seed phrase or recovery words
  • Never asks for your private keys
  • Never asks for your passwords
  • Never asks for your two-factor or authentication codes
  • Never asks for full account credentials or remote access
  • Never executes trades on your behalf
  • Never remotely controls your wallet or accounts
  • Never promises returns or guarantees Bitcoin's future price

What PYMTW does

  • Teaches Bitcoin fundamentals in plain, honest language
  • Helps you build a disciplined, documented process
  • Explains custody and security options and their trade-offs
  • Provides checklists and frameworks you apply yourself
  • Keeps you in sole control of your keys, accounts, and funds at all times

How to protect yourself anywhere

Guard your seed phrase like cash

Write it down offline, never type it into a website or app that didn't generate it, and never photograph it.

Verify who you're talking to

We only contact you from official channels. We'll never DM you asking for keys, codes, or urgent transfers.

Start with a test transaction

When taking self-custody, always send a small amount first and confirm recovery before moving more.

Plan for emergencies calmly

Make sure a trusted person can access your Bitcoin if something happens — documented, not improvised.
